Chestnut Ridge Wedding Buffalo, NY

When I first met this couple…we really connected. I thought they were this sweet/shy couple with great faith. Some of those qualities ARE true..they are sweet and they do have great faith. But I feel like my perception of them being”shy” changed quite a bit after interacting with them all day and hearing what others had to say! I would now say they are a sweet, goofy, quirky, and fun loving couple…they LOVE to joke around and tease each other. Honestly it made for a fun, relaxed, and amazing day. I really loved getting to know them more and seeing their real personalities come out. I mean David intentionally “missed” the first kiss which had the entire room roaring of laughter…it was absolutely hilarious. The wedding was science themed which is one I had never seen done. But these two pulled this off in such amazing style..I was impressed! They used beakers for flower vases and had test tubes for favors. Everywhere you looked was little science tools and cute ways of incorporating the theme. We even set up a little picnic book scene for pictures..gahh..so adorable! Melanie is going to med school and David went to school for mechanical engineering so this science theme fit them perfectly. I love when couples make their day really represent them and these two definitely did. They met at a Christian College group called BASIC and it’s obvious their faith is so important to them. These two truly love and support each other that is so obvious.  Now onto the beautiful photos…I just LOVE all the details in this wedding! This was a truly incredible day you two. I am so honored you chose me as your photographer. I loved capturing every moment!!
