Jamie and I used to work together and became good friends. We recently connected again and started talking about doing a session with her boyfriend Kyle. As soon as I mentioned campfire, s’mores, and flannel…they were in! This was just a fun and casual session and no they are not professional models!! They are just that good looking! 😉 I love the chemistry between them. It’s obvious how much they care about one another!

During the session it started to rain so we took the opportunity to take a few pictures with umbrellas…and then the sky looked AMAZING..so we obviously had to capture that as well!
I cannot wait for your wedding next May!! You two are so much fun to be with and it’s so obvious that you are perfect for each other!!
I had the most random and funny thing happen to me last week! Apparently one of the groomsman from a wedding I photographed two summers ago posted a picture to Reddit. Somehow a writer from the Huffington Post saw it and wanted to feature it. So a few days ago I got an email from the Huffington Post about using my photo for this feature. Honestly I thought it was hilarious. This groomsman was making jokes the whole time about the fact that he had to be “alone” in some of the shots. So of course I said yes and sent a few more pictures. Anyways here is a link to the full article titled “This Dude is the Saddest Little Groomsman We Ever Did See” …so funny!.png)

This was such a beautiful wedding! Jessica is a friend that I have had since high school, and she actually helped me out a TON while planning my wedding. So it was such an honor to photograph her wedding. The weather worked out perfectly and we were able to get those beautiful winter portraits without absolutely freezing. Jessica did an amazing job of styling this wedding from her elegant dress to her unique winter bouquet. Aaron is a great man and is obviously so in love with Jessica. When he said his vows it was so obvious that they were from his heart. I know they going to have a wonderful life together and they are so great together. The getting ready pictures took place in Aaron’s parent’s house which is a perfect backdrop for a winter wedding. Absolutely gorgeous..jpg)

You two are both such amazing people individually, I can’t wait to see what you will do together. I wish you the absolutely best and blessings for your life together!
This wedding was especially dear to my heart. The groom is my brother in law and the bride is now my sister in law as well! These two are really just made for each other. I actually got to be part of setting them up on their first blind date. Micah and I went on a double date with them. After the “date” I remember telling Alex that I think on paper she is the perfect woman for him. She is everything that he had been looking for. They began spending time together it was obvious they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. I love that when you just meet two people and its so obvious they are great together. Not only that but anyone who is with them for more than 5 minutes know that these two are absolutely smitten with one another.

This wedding was classic and elegant. I have seen peacock themed weddings before but never like this. Rather than the traditional teal and purple peacock…this bride went for classy black and red peacock. I loved it! I love how she incorporated feathers into this classic wedding. This wedding took place in the middle of November but honestly it didn’t feel like it. Typical weather for mid-November is freezing, windy, and sometimes snowing. This was one of the nicest days of that month. It was warm and had beautiful lighting. It was great for pictures. The pictures and reception were held at The Mansion on Delaware Avenue which is such a classy venue. The ceremony was held at St. Louis church in downtown Buffalo which is absolutely breathtaking. These two are obviously such a great match. It’s so evident that they truly care about one another and are going to have an amazing life together. They are both such positive people who are full of life and it’s so easy to see why they are together. They chose to do a first look and pictures beforehand since their ceremony was after dark. This just made for such a stress free day and were able to get some amazing pictures as well. .jpg)

Unfortunately it was pouring and cold by the time we were about to do pictures. But it didn’t matter we went to the Historical Society and we were able to get some gorgeous pictures. We were even able to do a few outside underneath a covered porch. I honestly kind of love wedding pictures with umbrellas!

The reception was at Pearl Street and it never disappoints! The food was delicious and I love all the details around the reception. .jpg)

We stepped out on the covered patio to get a few of the city lights at night in the rain. The one below of them kissing is another one of my absolute favorites of the day.
This was an absolutely perfect day. I had so much fun photographing this wedding! I feel so honored to get to capture the most special day of people’s lives. You two are so great together and I wish you absolutely happiness together!.jpg)
